Puaʻena Point in Haleiwa, HI is a point break, suited for intermediate surfers. Current conditions: 1.5 ft waves, ene 15 mph (cross-shore), falling → low. Conditions not favorable for surfing. Puaʻena Point is a long right near Haleʻiwa that is more sheltered than many North Shore reefs and can offer manageable walls on moderate winter swell. Start inside or on the shoulder on moderate days. Outside conditions can be dramatically larger.
