El Socorro is a small community on Highway 1 south of San Quintín, where the road runs close to the coast. The point here sees few surfers and has rocks in the lineup.
Punta San Carlos is a long right-hand point on a remote stretch of coast south of El Rosario, reached by a long dirt road. The strong afternoon northwest wind has made it a windsurfing and kiteboarding destination too, so surf sessions usually happen early. It picks up a wide range of swell directions.
El Cardón is a smaller headland on the same stretch of coast as Punta María. Despite its size, it can produce longer rides than its neighbors on a good winter swell.
Punta Negra is a right point on the central Pacific coast of Baja. It works on winter west to northwest swell, and the cleanest conditions usually come early or late in the day.
Punta Canoas is on the remote Pacific coast of central Baja, at the northern end of the string of points that runs down toward Santa Rosalillita. The area has several setups, and it picks up southwest swell that much of northern Baja does not get. High cliffs help with the wind.
