El Cardon current conditions and local guidance

El Cardon in Municipio de San Quintín, Baja California is a point break, suited for intermediate surfers. Current conditions: 1.6 ft waves, wnw 9 mph (cross-shore), falling → low. Small for this break but conditions look fun — 1.6 ft with manageable wind. El Cardón is a smaller headland on the same stretch of coast as Punta María. West to northwest swell with a northeast wind is the setup, and mid tide is the safer choice. Sometimes crowded. Best on a winter west swell with offshore wind.
