Shipwrecks (East Cape) in San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur is a point break, suited for advanced surfers. Current conditions: 2.6 ft waves, n 6 mph (cross-shore), rising → high. Size is there, but cross-shore wind affects quality. Shipwrecks is a fast right-hand point on the East Cape road north of San José del Cabo, named for the wreck near the break. South swell with a northwest wind is the setup; tide is secondary. Often crowded. Best on a summer south swell.
