Acapulquito (Costa Azul) in San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur is a reef break, best suited for beginner surfers. Current conditions: 3 ft waves, n 8 mph (offshore), rising → high. Clean offshore + rising tide with 3 ft swell energy. Acapulquito, also called Old Man's, is the gentle right in front of the Cabo Surf Hotel at Costa Azul. South to southwest swell with a north or northwest wind is the setup; it can be surfed from low through high tide. Crowded when working. Best on a small to medium south swell.
