Dunes in La Misión, Baja California is a beach break, suited for intermediate surfers. Current conditions: 2.5 ft waves, n 7–11 mph (cross-shore), falling → low. Size is there, but cross-shore wind affects quality. Dunes is an open beach break in the La Misión area, backed by sand dunes. Southwest swell and a northeast wind keep it cleanest. Walk the beach to find where the bank is holding shape and where the rip is running. Rarely crowded. Best on a southwest or west swell with offshore morning wind.
