La Fonda in La Misión, Baja California is a point break, suited for intermediate surfers. Current conditions: 1 ft waves, glassy, rising → high. Small for this break but conditions look fun — 1 ft with clean winds. La Fonda sits at around kilometer 58 on the toll road near La Misión, below the hotel and restaurant of the same name on the cliff. Southwest and west swells tend to give the best shape. Low to mid tide is the usual window, and east wind cleans it up. Sometimes crowded. Best on a chest-high to overhead southwest or west swell at low to mid tide.
