La Bocana is a small village at the mouth of a lagoon northwest of Punta Abreojos. The sandbars at the mouth produce shifting rights, with a left off the point on some swells. It is a quieter alternative to the Abreojos points.
Dirt road access; high clearance helps, especially after rain. No facilities at the break.
