Best Surf Beaches in Venustiano Carranza (Santa María)

Playa Santa María is the long beach south of San Quintín. It faces south swell better than most of this coast and works best in summer. Rip currents are the main hazard.

Cabo San Quintín is the cape at the south end of the San Quintín peninsula, beyond the bay and the volcanic cones. A right-hand line forms off the cape on west swell. It is remote, with rocks and sharks to consider.
