Baja Malibu current conditions and local guidance
Baja Malibu in Tijuana, Baja California is a beach break, suited for intermediate surfers. Current conditions: 2.4 ft waves, ene 26–32 mph (offshore), falling → low. Good swell, but tide is dropping through the window. Baja Malibu is the beach break most San Diego surfers mean when they say the border beaches get heavy. Winter northwest swell and combination swells with some south in them tend to produce the best shape. Early mornings with east or northeast wind are the window; mid tide is usually the easiest read. Rarely crowded. Best on a solid northwest or combination swell with offshore morning wind and several dry days behind it.
