San Miguel current conditions and local guidance

San Miguel in Ensenada, Baja California is a point break, suited for intermediate surfers. Current conditions: 1.3 ft waves, n 10 mph (cross-shore), rising → high. Small for this break but conditions look fun — 1.3 ft with manageable wind. San Miguel is the cobblestone right-hand point at the north end of Ensenada, where the toll road ends at El Sauzal. Winter west to northwest swell is the main season. Get there early before the wind shifts, and favor medium to high tide; lower tides expose more rock on the inside. Crowded when working. Best on a winter northwest swell with a morning northeast wind at medium to high tide.
