Best Surf Beaches in San Juanico

Punta San Gregorio is a remote point south of San Juanico, on the Comondú coast. The waves break over sand and some rock, with urchins near the rocks.

Scorpion Bay is the surfers' name for San Juanico, a small town on the Pacific coast of Baja California Sur with a series of right-hand points inside the bay. On a big south swell the points can connect into very long rides, which is why it is one of Baja's best-known destinations. It needs a proper south swell, so it is mainly a summer and early autumn spot, and flat spells are common outside that window.
