Size is there, but cross-shore wind affects quality. Campo René is a camp on the Pacific coast of Baja California Sur with a mix of beach and reef peaks in front. South and southwest swell with a northerly wind is the setup. Start with the middle of the tide and pick the peak that is holding shape. Rarely crowded. Best on a chest-high to overhead south swell with offshore wind.
