Monuments in El Tezal, Baja California Sur is a point break, suited for advanced surfers. Current conditions: 1.3 ft waves, glassy, rising → high. Small for this break but conditions look fun — 1.3 ft with clean winds. Monuments is the steep left at the east end of Cabo San Lucas bay, where deep water near the headland focuses west and southwest swell. West and southwest swells are the main triggers, with a north or northeast wind. Go early. Crowded when working. Best on a west or southwest swell in the early morning.
