Los Frailes in Cabo Frailes, Baja California Sur is a reef break, suited for advanced surfers. Current conditions: 3 ft waves, n 8 mph (cross-shore), rising → high. Size is there, but cross-shore wind affects quality. Los Frailes is the bay just south of Cabo Pulmo on the East Cape, sheltered by the rocky headland of Cabo Frailes. Southeast swell with a west-northwest wind is the setup. Sharks and rocks are part of the read. Rarely crowded. Best on a southeast swell with offshore wind.
