Remote and exposed beach break known for powerful, hollow peaks and long walls when sandbars align. Jalama picks up any swell and can be world-class on a clean NW swell, but currents are strong and the water is cold.
Walk down the beach from the parking lot to whichever sandbar looks best; there's a long stretch to choose from.
Day-use parking available at Jalama Beach County Park for a fee; camping spots are also available.
