Flagler Beach is a long coquina‑sand beach known for its thumping shorebreak and friendly surf culture. On low incoming tide the second sandbar produces fun rights and lefts when west winds and swell align. The area near the pier can get crowded and powerful; novices should surf a few blocks away.
Multiple beach accesses lead directly to the sand. Stay away from the pier's 150‑ft no‑surf zone.
Street parking along A1A is free. Additional parking lots are near the pier. Arrive early on weekends.
