Pacifica's main break is a long crescent beach offering peaks for all levels. The north end offers punchier waves, the middle is usually softer for beginners, and the south end near the cliff produces occasional lefts on south swells.
Smaller cove just south of Linda Mar, Rockaway Beach offers punchy peaks and occasional barrels when sandbars align. The northern corner has a rock reef that produces a wedgy right. Currents can be strong and it closes out on big swells.
