    San Elijo lights up on a west-northwest swell in the 3-5 foot range with light offshore winds from the east. A medium incoming tide cleans up the peaks and keeps the inside section from getting too shallow. Early morning glass before the sea breeze kicks in around 11 AM is prime time.
