Conditions not favorable for surfing.
El Morro Point (K37.5) is a point break in Rosarito, Baja California suited for intermediate surfers. It picks up swells from S to SW (180°-225°). Best surfed at 2-6ft. Hazards include rip currents, rocks, sea urchins, localism. Expect moderate crowds. Offshore winds come from NE (45°). Situated just north of the famous K-38, El Morro offers a long, fast right-hand wall. It's a rocky entry and can be a bit more tide-sensitive, but provides excellent rides for intermediate to advanced surfers. Prefers a rising tide to cover the "boiler" rocks on the inside.
Bring booties for the rocky reef and respect the locals.
