Jobos is Isabela's iconic surf beach, offering a powerful right‑hand reef break off the rocks and a softer inside peak over sand. Intermediate surfers can test themselves on the outside while beginners ride the rolling inside section. The wave picks up almost any northern swell and can get hollow, drawing a large crowd and lively scene.
Jobos is always busy. Respect the locals and split your time between the inside and outside to share waves.
There's a main parking area behind the beach bars, but it fills up quickly on weekends. Additional parking can be found along the road.
Walk across the sand and paddle out along the channel next to the rocks. Beware of strong side currents during bigger swells.
