Popotla is a small fishing village just south of Rosarito, known for its fresh seafood stalls on the sand. West swell with a southeast wind is the cleanest window. Mid to high tide keeps more water over the reef. Usually uncrowded. Best on a west swell at mid to high tide with light wind.
